Peoples’ Primary Health Initiatives Sindh is seeking applications from highly skilled, dedicated, and dynamic people to fill contract positions. Only Sindh Province inhabitants are eligible.
PPHI Sindh is a non-profit organization founded under Section 42 of the Companies Act 2017 (formerly the Companies Ordinance, 1984). The Pakistan Center of Philanthropists (PCP), a government-certified agency that recognizes Not for Profit organizations, has also acknowledged its NPO (Not for Profit Organization) accreditation.
PPHI Sindh is a registered local NGO with the Economic Affairs Division of the Government of Pakistan, making it eligible for international support. It is led by a Board of Directors comprised of seven experienced persons with diverse backgrounds. He is represented by former members of the Sindh Government’s Board of Secretaries (Health, Finance, Planning and Development, and Population Welfare).
The PPHI journey began in Kashmore district in 2007 and gradually spread to 22 districts in Sindh. This role was first handed to the organization in 2007 through the Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) under an MoU with the Government of Sindh (GoS). The organization was registered with the SECP (Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan) in 2013.
The organization was established in order to reestablish health services in rural Sindh. Its immediate goal was to ensure that the PPHI-referenced health facilities were fully operational and that health services were available to all.
A committed and capable management team was assembled, and they worked tirelessly to attain this aim. Regular attendance of doctors and workers in health institutions, as well as constant delivery of medical supplies, were ensured in a short period of time.
